About Honeywilds Horticulture!
Getting Started
First rez your pot and watering can, then rez your seedling. Once the seedling is rezzed, click on it to open the menu. From there, you can select the "Plant" option to plant your seedling in the pot. Your plant will grow for the next few days and you can check on it by clicking on the pot (or the plant itself) to see it's status.
Every 5 days, your plant will produce a seedling, until it reaches the maximum number of seedlings it can produce. Once your plant has produced all of its seedlings, it will stop requiring water and can be kept as a decorative plant or sold to the nursery for a small amount of Golden Coins.
Planters and Pots
Planters and pots come in various sizes and shapes, any pot can be used with any plant. Planters generally support multiple plants, while pots are generally for a single plant. Plants can be unplanted and replanted in a different pot or planter at any time. When a plant is unplanted, it will stop growing and will not produce any seedlings until it is replanted.
The Beehive
The beehive when rezzed near your plants will enable the bees to pollinate your plants. Pollination will mix the genetics of the nearby plants and when a new seedling is produced, it's type will affected by the mixed genetics of the parent plants. The beehive will also produce honey as a byproduct of the pollination process. Honey jars can be harvested from the beehive once the beehive reaches 100% capacity.
Redeliveries
Redeliveries can be done at any time, however, redeliveries will reset the current seed progress. Redeliveries can be done using the wheelbarrow or the mass redelivery gnome.
The Wheelbarrow
The wheelbarrow is used to redeliver your plants and seedlings should they become lost or broken. To use the wheelbarrow, click it and enter the ID of the plant or seedling you wish to redeliver.
The Mass Redelivery Gnome
The mass redelivery gnome can be used to redeliver multiple plants and seedlings at once and is useful for updating. To use the mass redelivery gnome, touch it and it will show a particle circle around it. Rez your plants and seedlings inside the particle circle and then touch the gnome again to redeliver all of the plants and seedlings inside the particle circle.
The Stash
The stash is a listing of all your plants and seedlings with their ID numbers, last seen locations and last seen times. You can access the stash by clicking on the "Stash" link in the navigation bar once you are logged in. To log in you will need to set a password for your account. You can do this by clicking a Honeywilds Password Setter Computer and following the instructions.
Seedlings and plants that are in green text have been seen in the last 24 hours, while seedlings and plants that are in red text have not been seen in the last 24 hours - they may be in your inventory, lost or broken. If you are unsure where they are, you can use the redelivery options to get them back.
The stash also shows you your current Golden Coin and Honey Jar balances, and has a link to your transaction history.
The Nursery
All plants and seedlings, while they can be sold to other players, can also be sold to the nursery. Selling to the nursery will award a small amount of Golden Coins which can be used to purchase special plants and items.
